ONE is not a grant-management platform. It does not replace proposal tracking, budget management, submission workflows, or project administration tools.
For project offices, ONE acts as an intelligence and evidence layer: it helps identify researchers, teams, competences, track records, and structured evidence that can support proposal preparation, consortium building, internal training, and institutional positioning.
What you can do
These workflows support discovery and evidence preparation. They do not automate institutional decisions.
Search for affiliated researchers with project participation, project leadership roles, funding history, and collaboration patterns relevant to a call or strategic priority.
Use author search and profile evidence to identify potential internal participants and external partners for consortium building.
Map which researchers show strong project-management profiles and which groups may benefit from training in proposal development, project management, or funding strategy.
Help researchers reuse validated profile evidence for CVs, track records, proposal annexes, and institutional narratives.
The Project Office use case can use competence information aligned with the European Competence Framework for Researchers, especially competences related to managing research, such as mobilising resources, managing projects, negotiating, and evaluating research.
Responsible use
Project Office Intelligence is a decision-support workflow. It helps identify potentially relevant researchers and evidence, but final proposal-team decisions require human review, local knowledge, and strategic judgement.
