Our story
The Genesis of ONE Research Community
In 2020, Raúl Mendez-Vasquez and Eduard Suñén Pinyol established Research Marks Analytics, a consulting firm in Barcelona specializing in bibliometrics and research analysis.
The launch of transformative resources such as Microsoft Academic Graph, and later, OpenAlex, catalyzed a longstanding vision the founders shared—revolutionizing how research metrics are accessed and utilized globally.
These developments transformed a once distant dream into a tangible reality. Inspired by the new possibilities these resources offered, Eduard and Raúl set out to refine and implement the innovative ideas they had nurtured for years, culminating in the creation of ONE Research Community.
We extend our deepest gratitude to OurResearch for continuing the valuable database initiated by Microsoft. This foundation has been instrumental in enabling us to build a comprehensive platform that not only provides advanced metrics but also fosters global collaboration among researchers.
