Dr. Parthasarathi Ramakrishnan serves as Principal Scientist of CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow at Computational Toxicology Facility, and leading Centre for Innovation and Translational Research (CITAR)-BIRAC-BIONEST-IITR and Environmental Monitoring and Intervention Hub (DSIR-CRTDH-IITR). Dr. Partha earned his Ph.D. from CLRI, University of Madras and he served as a scientist with highly reputed institutions like the Lawrence Berkeley National Labs, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Sandia National Laboratories, USA. He has more than 20 years of research experience in applied biochemistry to unravel important issues in human health and the environment. He has authored more than 120 research articles in journals of high repute with 7700 citations, H-Index: 46, and six patents from his research contributions. Dr. Parthasarathi significantly contributed to the field of computational biology by understanding molecular interactions and predictive toxicology of chemicals for risk assessments. His work on non-toxic solvent development for bioprocessing helped in developing cost-effective processes for industries as well as environmental safety. His lab is currently involved in the development of AI & Machine Learning-based computational toxicity models, biomolecular simulations, databases, and developing innovative predictive approaches relevant to translational research from safety prioritization of chemicals to technological development.
