Dr. Alex English has spent the last 15 years in China working and studying Chinese language and culture. Currently, Dr. English is currently an associate professor at Wenzhou-Kean University. Dr. English received his Ph.D. in Applied Psychology at Zhejiang University. Mr. English also teaches courses and advises graduate students at Concordia University’s Masters in International Studies (MAIS) program. He serves as a liaison for American students studying and working in China. Alex English is an active member of the International Association of Cross-cultural Psychology (IACCP), International Academy of Intercultural Research (IAIR), and Asian Society of Social Psychology (AASP). Dr. English also does intercultural training and coaching. He has given numerous presentations at conferences and workshops on acculturation, student migration, intercultural competence and adjusting to college life.
