Anne Hege Aamodt is a Senior Consultant and Senior Researcher at the Department of Neurology, Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet, Oslo, and Chair of the Advisory Board at the Norwegian Headache Research Centre at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway. Her research interests include acute stroke diagnostics and treatment, cardioembolic stroke, moyamoya and headache including migraine. She has her own research group and has built a large national and international research network in both cerebrovascular diseases and headache. She is the chief investigator of several multi-center trials such as the TenCRAOS, NOR-FIB, AI-STROKE, CovaxHEAD and NeuroCOVID trials, the national lead of several trials such as the ESCAPE-NEXT, TENSION, PRECIOUS and ENERGY trials, as well as PI of several trials such as CandMig. Her other responsibilities include: Chair of the Membership Committee in the European Stroke Organization (ESO), Chair of the Constitution and Bylaws Committee in the World Federation of Neurology, National Delegate of the Scientific panel for stroke in the European Academy of Neurology, National Deputy in the European Academy of Neurology, National Coordinator of SITS for Norway, member of the executive board in the Norwegian Vision in Stroke (NorVIS) Network and a representative for the Norwegian Brain Council in the partnership for the Norwegian Brain Health Strategy. She is Fellow of the European Stroke Organization and European Academy of Neurology. show More
