Suryadi Ismadji is a lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Widya Mandala Catholic University, Surabaya. He was born in Surabaya on December 23, 1969. He is also a researcher who actively contributes to writing his research results in the field of chemical engineering. He completed his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at Widya Mandala Catholic University. Then he continued his Master's in Chemical Engineering at the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS). He received his doctorate from The University of Queensland, Australia, in 2002. Various kinds of awards have been received since 2003. In 2010, he received the Science and Technology Award from the Indonesia Toray Science Foundation (ITSF). He is considered active and consistent in producing scientific journals that are published on a national and international scale. He proposed using agricultural waste, such as cassava peels, to research activated carbon. This is considered a solution for refining palm oil with efficient technology. The same year, Suryadi Ismadji received the Australia Alumni Award for Research and Innovation from the Australian Embassy. In 2012, Suryadi Ismadji received an Extraordinary Intellectual Property Award from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia. In 2015 he received the Ahmad Bakri Award XIII and APTIK Award 2015. In 2017, Suryadi Ismadji won the Habibie Award XIX in Engineering and Engineering. In 2018, Suryadi Ismadji won the title of Outstanding Lecturer at the national level (2nd place).
