Played a key role in development of protocols for sample collection, processing and storage • National leadership role in Health Informatics through leadership of Informatics and Biobanking research theme of the NIHR Imperial Biomedical Research Centre and as associate director of the Health Data Research UK London hub • National leadership role in dementias research as UK-DRI Professor in the Dementia Research Institute at Imperial College London. Programme lead for research programme on Linking genetic, epidemiology and metabolic phenotyping in dementia in the context of ageing, environment and lifestyle • National leadership role in public health as PI of the DHSC-sponsored REACT Real-time Assessment of Community Transmission Study monitoring the spread of SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus) across England Many years of experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in epidemiology and public health.
