Dr. Mohammad Oves, Ph.D. (Microbiology), is an Assistant Professor at Center of Excellence in Environmental Studies of King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has ten years of research experience on the different environmental-related research project like SWINGS (Safeguarding Water Resources in India with Green and Sustainable Technology) International FP-7 funded project of the European Union) and green synthesis of nanoparticles from the plant and bacterial extract funded by ICMR and CSIR funding bodies of the Indian government. He has published more than 95 scientific papers, including original research articles, review articles, and book chapters in various international publishers. He has also gained 28 H index and more than 4150 citations on Google scholar. His interest in various aspects and application of Microbiology coupled with Environment, Nanoscience, and Biomedical Sciences. He is intensely involved in research activities focusing on Environmental and Medical Microbiology, Nanotechnology, Heavy metals bioremediation and Antimicrobial microbial activities of newly synthesized drugs and nanomaterials.
