Lemma Getacher was born on July 05, 1989, in Lulgie Seret kebele, North Shoa zone, Central Ethiopia. He started school at Lulgie Seret Elementary School in 1997 and completed all his high school studies at Mehalmeda Preparatory and Secondary School in June 2009. In October 2009, he joined Debre Berhan University (DBU) and graduated with a bachelor's degree in science (B.Sc.) in nursing with a CGPA of 3.69 on June 27, 2013. He worked in Somali regional state from November 2013 to February 2018 as a senior nurse professional. In July 2016, he joined Haramaya University and obtained his Master of Public Health (MPH) in Public Health Nutrition with a CGPA of 4.00 and an excellent thesis result (A+) on July 14, 2018. He also worked as a part-time lecturer of different public and clinical courses at Horn International College, Harar Campus, from September 2017 to September 2018, while simultaneously attending his master's education. After completing his studies, he started working at Debre Berhan University (DBU) as a lecturer in human nutrition on October 29, 2018. During his stay at DBU, he participated in the teaching and learning process, community service, and research activities. He is interested in nutrition and public health-related research areas. Currently, he has published more than 35 papers in international indexed journals as a main author and co-author. He has been studying for his PhD in human nutrition at Jimma University in Ethiopia since January 2020. show More
