Dr. Xiaoyuan Chen is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Engineering, Sichuan Normal University, and also an Adjunct Associate Professor with the Sichuan Energy Internet Research Institute, Tsinghua University. He is the Director of the Institute of Applied Superconductivity and Energy Efficiency, and also serves as the Secretary-General of the IEEE China Council Council on Superconductivity Chapter (CCCSC) and the IEEE International Conference on Applied Superconductivity and Electromagnetic Devices (ASEMD). He is Senior Member of the China Electrotechnical Society (CES), Senior Member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE) and Senior Member of the Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR), and Board Member of the Green Data Center Technology Committee (GDCT). His research interests include superconducting integrated energy system, superconducting custom power technology and cryogenic power electronics.
