My Ph.D. in commerce (Field of study: Accounting/Auditing) from Bharathiar University, where my thesis focused on the "Impact of Information Communication Technology on Auditing Practices of accounting professionals in Kerala." This doctoral study has provided me with a deep understanding of the intersection between technology and the field of accounting and auditing. Additionally, I have obtained my Company Secretary (ACS) qualification from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India in 2010 and I am a semi-qualified chartered accountant (CA-Inter from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) since 2006. Moreover, I possess a Master of Commerce from Madras University and a Bachelor of Commerce from Calicut University, India. With over 12 years of experience teaching Graduation project, Computerized Accounting, Accounting, Auditing, and various other management and business-related courses across different colleges, I have honed my presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. This teaching and research experience has allowed me to engage and inspire students, fostering their understanding and passion for the subject matter. Furthermore, I have gained practical industry exposure as a senior accountant at M/s Young Life Trading LLC Western International Group, Geepas, Dubai, UAE, where I developed valuable skills in financial analysis, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Additionally, I have practiced as a Company Secretary and worked as an Assistant Company Secretary in Malabar Group of Companies, Calicut, Kerala. As an academic, I have been employed as a Lecturer in the Accounting Department at the University of Nizwa, Oman, since 2013. This role has enabled me to contribute to the development of accounting education and mentor students in their academic and professional growth. Furthermore, I have actively contributed to the academic community by publishing my research work in reputable journals, including those indexed in ABS, SCOPUS, WOS, and ABDC. My research interests encompass a wide range of areas, including Accounting, Auditing, ERP, Entrepreneurship, and Fintech.
