Dadson Awunyo-Vitor is a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), UK and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountant (ICA) Ghana, Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIT) Ghana. Dadson obtained PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ghana. He is a graduate of Imperial College, University of London, where he studied for MSc Agricultural Economics. He also had his Bachelor degree from University of Science and Technology, Kumasi in Agriculture with first class honours. He studied for Postgraduate Diploma in Management Information System (MIS) at the Ghana Institute of Public Administration (GIMPA), and Postgraduate Diploma in Education at the University of Cape coast. He has also completed the professional certificate course in security trading and investment analysis at the Ghana Stock Exchange. Dadson Awunyo-Vitor is blessed with several years of experience as Agricultural Economist, Investment Advisor, Accountant, Lecturer, Auditor and Consultant. He worked briefly with Capital Alliance Company as an investment advisor and a Broker on Ghana Stock Exchange before joining University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi as Assistant Internal Auditor while lecturing at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, KNUST on part time basis. He was transferred to the Department of Agricultural Economics and Farm Management as a full time lecturer and later transferred to KNUST School of Business where he taught course at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He also worked with Asamoa Bonsu & Co (Chartered Accountants) as Audit Senior and tax advisor. He also undertook consultancy work for both governmental and non-governmental organisation including MoFA, GIZ, CIDA, IFAD etc. Dadson’s research interests cover various aspects of Economics, Accounting and Finance, agricultural and health economics as well as marketing. He has conducted extensive research on Finance, agricultural and health economics. His research has been published in international journals such as the Urban Studies Research, American Journal of Experimental Agriculture, British Journal of Economics, Management and Trade, Journal of Development and Agricultural Economics, International Journal for Equity in Health, Modern Economy, Agricultural Finance Review, ISRN Economics, etc. He is associate editor for Journal of Agricultural Science, published by Canadian Centre for Science and Education, Asian Journal of Agriculture and Rural Development published by Asian Economic and Social Science Society.
