Dr. Le Quoc Hoi is a Professor of economics at the National Economics University, Vietnam. He has been Editor in Chief of the Journal of Economics and Development since 2014. He obtained Ph.D in Economics at the University of Adelaide, Australia in 2006. He was a Visiting Scholar/Research Fellow at Jonhs Hopkins University, USA in 2010. Prof. Hoi has more than 25 years of research and teaching experience in Australia and Vietnam for some universities including the University of Adelaide, National Economics University, University of Economics at Hanoi National University. Subjects taught include Macroeconomics; Advanced Macroeconomics; Economic History; Mathematical Economics and Methods for Business and Economics. His research of interest includes foreign direct investment, economic growth, income inequality, poverty and finance. He has published many articles in academic journals including Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy; Eurasian Economic Review; Afro-Asian Journal of Finance and Accounting, Journal of South East Asian Economies; Journal of Economic Studies; Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Business; Ageing International; Economies; Asian Economic and Financial Review; Journal of Economic Development; Decision Science Letters; Central Asia and the Caucasus; Journal of Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems; Management of Environmental Quality; Journal of Economics, Finance and Administrative Science. show More
