Prof. Haotian Lin is the Vice President of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center (integrated medical teaching, research and prevention), Director of Genetics and Bioinformatics Department of Zhongshan school of medicine, Sun Yat-sen University, the academic pacesetter of Medical Artificial Intelligence, Primary Investigator, PhD candidate tutor of Ophthalmology and Engineering. His expertise is in phacoemulsification and intraocular lens (IOL) implantation, particularly in the prevention and treatment for congenital cataract. He has edited 2 books as the editor-in-chief, co-written 6 monographs and published more than 100 SCI papers as the first or the corresponding author, including Nature, Science, Lancet, BMJ, Nature Medicine, etc. With more than 30 patents (applied and approved), Prof. Lin took the lead to write two Bay Area Standards (the only two in medical artificial intelligence field), won the first prize of WU Wenjun AI Science and Technology Award, and the Zhong Nanshan Youth Science and Technology Innovation Award. show More
