Dr. Sikder is basically an Environmental Health researcher. With a Ph.D., M.Sc. and B.Sc. degree in the field of Environmental Science, he has full understanding and capability of research conduction on natural science, public health issues and environmental medicine. He is also invincible for the implementation of the research outputs in the real scale scenario. He targeted to contribute in the formation of a sustainability resilient society by linking his research outputs to the people with severe water pollution problem and to the people who struggling with poor health. He is also contributing as a lead researcher to address COVID-19. Dr. Sikder went to Graduate School of Environmental Science, Hokkaido University, Japan on July 09, 2020 as a Post Doctoral Researcher under the funding of Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO). Later on, he continued his post doctoral researches in the Faculty of Health Sciences of the same university under the most renowned JSPS Post Doctoral Fellowship. In 2018, he went to University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France to attend 20th ISANH International Conference on Oxidative Stress, Redox Homeostasis and Antioxidants. In the conference, he presented his research on 'Amelioration of metal induced cellular stress by alpha lipoic acid through antioxidative effects in PC12 cells and Caco-2 cells'.
